Same picture I emailed to Bill. Anyone with a post war wing should save it!

I did compare the wire with your picture, Hank, and these do appear to me to be the Taylorcraft type clips. These have the more pronounced "hook" in the clip next to the running portion of the wire.
It's quite easy to tell the difference between the Taylorcraft wire and the Martin wire:

Hank, Yes these do seem to be exactly 3 inches spacing. Email has been sent. Thanks

Bill,
It's not the shape of the hook, it's the length between them. Drop me an email and we can make arrangements.
Rob, if you have a requirement for some let me know. We are still looking for a company that can make the wire. Everyone says it is an easy program, but no one seems to want to quote a price. I am afraid it is because they want to sell MILES of it.

I got the message and will be checking to see what type wires these are.
Thanks, Bill

In fact I'll pay that, beaverbill, just for you to hold it until someone else comes along, then they can have it for free. Please let me know how your Chapter can accept payment.

The shroud looks Taylorcraft. The other exhaust not so much, at least not a model I am familiar with.

No Lycoming engine parts. We do have some exhaust stacks that I haven't identified. Probably for a Continental, but I don't know for sure..

BL-65 (L-2F) Parts
Our EAA Chapter here in Fairbanks has a collection of Taylorcraft parts we would like to sell. The serial number on the door hinge is 2077, so we think we have a 1940 BL-65. We do not have any paperwork though, so keep that in mind. A good looking fuselage frame and pair of wings with no apparent damage. We recognize that for folks in the lower 48 shipping is a consideration for the large pieces. However we do have quite a few small parts that can easily be mailed. We have an instrument panel bezel that is in pretty good shape, just a slight bend on the left side. And we have an old style instrument cluster. Stewart Warner brand with the large tachometer and oil pressure gauge in the lower right. Oil temperature gauge is missing, as is the glass and tach needle. I don't have a clear idea what the instrument might be worth so make us an offer if you want it.
Also have landing gear, some wing root fairings, exhaust system parts, tail brace wires. Let me know what you are looking for and I will see if we have it. Thanks!
