  • Wanted, right wing tank

For a BC12D We have a leaker. Need to replace. Alum prefered but a good steel one would do fine. Thanks, Larry

Pull it and take it to a radiator shop, they are better at fixing tanks than any a&p out there

Just say it’s from a boat or tractor

Agree with Tim. A good radiator shop will be able to steam clean it, probably remove any old sealant, repair any leaks (have them beef up the fuel outlet bung and drain areas while they are at it. It will be cheap and that is where you will get cracks). Also STRONGLY agree that you NOT tell them it is for an airplane! It is a BOAT tank! They will be scared to death about liability.

Or buy a new one from Wag Aero ...comes with all the paperwork.

Thanks to everyone for the good advice. We have plenty of radiator repair here in farm country. Will try them first, Then Wag if necessary. Good ideas and much appreciated. Larry
