Looks like I missed the chance to purchase a Bungee Cord Tool from Mr. drude himself. If anyone has one they're trying to get rid of I'm interested. If it's still in like new condition I'll pay what you paid so you can walk away whole

I never thought of doing that before, good idea. Don't know if I will or will not do it.

From 1998 to 2018 I must have made about 300 tools, about 15 tools per year.

I never copyrighted or patented anything, figured it was not economical.

Since its been more than 17 years the patent would not be in effect but a copyright could be.

Well if Dave gets his tool sent to the new builder, they would probably be available again. If you want to borrow mine, I can send it to you if you send it back and pay for shipping.

Might want to check around the Orange County CA area and see if someone has one close. I would be glad to loan mine too but the shipping from VA and back would be silly if one is in your neighborhood. Also nice to have someone (the tool owner) available to help. I WOULD NOT ever change a bungee alone! No matter how good the tool is. What we need is a list of who has tools and where so we can find a close person with one until they are being made again.
I will kick it off. I have one in SE Virginia (Suffolk VA -SFQ for the tool and Virginia Beach for my home). Glad to help anyone in the area with theirs.

Many EAA clubs have tool / tools you can borrow!
Our club 75 does. Search in your area and see hat you can find.
