Fabric Door Handle and Latching assembly

Well good grief, while I am asking. I have 6 fabric doors and no latching/handle assemblies for my '40. Does anyone have a spare pair that they would sell/trade?

Are you looking for this one? I don't have any extras but could make a mold and cast a resin one. The originals had a piece of square steel inside and aluminum was cast around the steel. Copies could be made from casting resin fairly easy.

The ones for the fabric door are more rectangular shaped with the end of the square shaft threaded for a 1/4" or 5/16" nut.

Yes, like that. Back in the 1990's we found some in a camper/trailer supply catalog.

The airplane ones are hollow in some models. Mine were stamped aluminum. Some where cast aluminum, but the trailer ones are cast zinc. Tim

The ones we found 20 years ago in a trailer supply catalog were stamped handles just like the originals for the fabric type doors.
