  • Anyone looking for parts?

I am going to start liquidating all my inventory except for what i need to build 2 airplanes. I have a tons of parts, so ask away. I do not have any struts or nice cowling available. Parts will be reasonably priced, I am also willing to sell all of it in one lump sum if someone wants a deal, would take probably 2 ryder trucks to move it all. I am also looking for a couple things like rudders and a F-21 nose bowl. Once everyone here has had a shot i will start listing on ebay.

Do you have any stamped wing ribs? I am interested in the several of each piece; nose, main, etc.

you talking about the streamline strut? It is welded at the top and bolted at the bottom?

My '46 BC12D1 has a sliding window on the pilot side and fixed window on the passenger side. Do you have a sliding window that would replace the fixed window?

it is not sold as a seperate part. You can buy the material to repair the gear last time I looked.

yes and no. I have a NOS top and bottom cowl that I have not decided to part with just YET. But I would consider it.

                          Re: Anyone looking for parts?

I have half a dozen beat up old top cowl sets and was trying to make a drawing up to build new ones. They are all different thicknesses and the stiffeners are different on them! Doesn't seem to be ANY standardization.
Any chance your set is a FACTORY set? If so, could you measure the thickness of the skin and doublers and maybe post some photos of how the halves are laid out? It SHOULD NOT be that hard to make new cowl doors, but since they all seem to be replacements I kind of wonder what people used for a guide when making them. Some look like tank armor, some like they used old Turkey baster pans. Some have rolled edges, some have riveted doublers, some nothing. Some have a "U" channel in the middle, some nothing. NONE fit well. I think we have all seen the creative efforts for hinges.
