As mentioned all this information you're sharing is excellent and appreciated. I'm not an A&P but I can learn and then share it with the fellow that maintains my aircraft. Not many folks left in the profession that know much about or care about Antique Aircraft.

There's not much else available for the Taylorcraft unlike the various Cub forums that are a wealth of knowledge and experience.

I've know George for years, and yes he's a T-Craft Man (plus others). We competitively trapped remote lakes for some time 30 years ago and have remote cabins in the same general area.

Steve Conatser is doing my work now. There have been others, but Steve restored my former PA-11 13 yrs ago and does good work that I trust.

41 years of flying out of Fairbanks has taught me a lot about maintenance and folks that do that kind of work.

Anyone know off hand the minimum fuel line ID required for 65, 75 and 85 HP engine? I have gotten widely different numbers from different mechanics.

65 is a .250, the 85 is .312, 75 I don't know. If you use a -6 fittings and 3/8" line you are covered for all. Tim

I would say CFR 23.955 would be a good place to start. I would guess the earlier regulations would have been similar.
