  • BC12 wing tank source of supply

Does anyone have a source of supply for a new RH wing tank for a BC12-D please?

They used to be available from Wag-Aero. When Wag was purchased by Aircraft Spruce, they got the remaining inventory of lefthand tanks.

There were no righthand tanks in inventory. Aircraft Spruce claims to not have the contact info for the business that was manufacturing tanks for Wag-Aero so they can't order new ones.

I have to replace my RH tank. I have access to a used tank but I DO NOT want to put a used orginal tank back in the wing as it may start leaking the day after I paint the fabric repair.

Anyone know who was building the tanks for Wag-Aero?
    Thanks.

Aero Fabricators manufactured most of Wag Aero parts.
They were unable to find a buyer so are no longer in business.
Bid on aircraft part manufacturing equipment like mechanical press brakes, punch presses, welders, and more!

My wing tank might be leaking, and I would like a left tank as well, not to mention my main tank needs to be pulled and a fitting redone, any help would be appreciated

Sam, no one manufactures tanks anymore.
You will have to remove your tanks from the wing and take them to a weld shop for repair. Or make your own new tanks. You have to remove the wing which is easy. Then you have to remove the fabric in the first rib bay to remove the tank for repair. Once repaired, reinstall the tank and then you have to replace the fabric per approved methonds for the fabric system you are using.
