Can anyone here provide instructions how they install their Eisemann impulse coupling magneto? We got ours installed and the runs ok but it took us several "remove mag, turn prop, reinstall mag" till we got the timing correct.

Sounds about right to me. There is no "peg" like on a Slick. It takes experience & guesswork. You got it right!
I love Eisemann mags; my UK-based Taylorcraft has several thousand hours on the same Eisemann mags..
But inspect/service/replace/grease the magneto bearings and oil slinger and oil seal every 500 hours, just as you would for a tractor. Cheap maintenance at about $100 for parts.
