I'm going to miss The Annual Taylorcraft Fly-in and Old Timers Reunion in Alliance for the first time in 4 years, so I'm envious of all you who are going. Have a good time everyone, and I hope the weather is kind.
I wish Forrest, Patti and all a good weekend, and I hope everyone has as good a time as I have had during my recent visits. Please do the old factory fly-by, if you can, everyone loves it.

Forrest, please give my love to Patti and to your family, and I'll see you, Bruce and others at Osh.

Darn & I had Shepard's Pie & Spotted Dick all ready for you. I really think that from now on we should go all out for the Fly-In here and the Oshkosh thing can pull back a wee bit.
WE the Taylorcraft bunch seem to get lost up there. HERE in Alliance is the spot. WE get a lot more Taylorcrafts too. The awards are sitting here right now. Longest Ownership ; Newest Taylorcraft; Longest Distance ; Oldest Tcraft ; remember you have to be present at the Taylorcraft Owners Club Annual meeting to win , that is Sat night at Sunset.... The Foundation Board of Directors will meet Sat afternoon.

At least you spelled it right ; Shepherds is ground beef ( I always thought it was lamb) Cottage is beef mince ; and the ever popular Pilgims pie is of course Turkey and other stuff.... luv them all.

Got hit by Cindy. it knock a tractor shed down around my tractor.
Tractor had a broken tail light. A bunch of trees bit the dust and I have been out of electricy for the last 3 days. Try sleeping in this 100 degree heat with no AC. Now I know why there were not too many fat people in the olden days. It was too hot to eat. Ha. Ha. My two airplanes are ok.

Yeah,
I stopped flying long enough to watch the weather last night.A friend of mine brought his stearman up here last week to let me help him do a little patch work on it and we've been flying the hell out of it.....still ain't worked on it any.
