I am a little worried about the Hotel, they didn't want me to secure the resveration with a credit card, saying that they would hold it and not to worry. When someone says that I begin to worry.
Could you pass on some info on the airshow? Will there be alot of T-crafts coming? (I guess this thread might answer that one) It looks like Alliance isn't that far.... might run up for the day if I could look over a few planes.... I'm considering buying one....
I'm not sure. We haven't done any flight planning yet. Looks like we are going to fly a two ship up. My neighbor and his son will be flying their Piper Clipper up, with Curtis and I flying their wing in the T.
We plan on leaving 07TS on the 27th and return on monday.
I'm-a-comin'! I'd hate to wait that long to put the floats on tho. Forrest, is there water close by? At the airport web site I saw a puddle near one of the runways, but I'm not THAT good........
Will still need a ride to motel. No taxi, and auto rentals including Chevy will not leave car at train station for my 02:30 arrival. But knowing Amtrack, that can be anywhere between 02:00 and 06:00. I have a cell phone if I can get someone to pick me in the morning (My wife and I) I can then get a car later. I can call from the train about a half hour before arriving.
Still talking with Jim Teal at the Chevy dealer. MAYBE something can be arranged, if not then I will be forced to ask for help.
