  • Correct email for Membership Form?

    Howdy gang!

I sent in payment a few weeks ago and emailed a completed membership form in but I haven't heard back from anyone.

I sent an email to both [email protected] and [email protected] to no avail.

Is there an updated account I need to send in the form for membership?

    Thanks!

    Jeff

I think that the Foundation is defunct.

The forum is separate from it.

My suggestion is have your CC company get your money back and then give that to the forum (Bob Ollerton)

Just like Dave said, no money required to join the forum. The Foundation kind of died since Forrest, the gentleman who was involved in the Foundation, really hasn't done much on here. He is mainly on Facebook, now. Get your money back, no loss really.
      Cheers,

Bummer! Thanks for the response. This is a great forum. Sad to hear about the Foundation.

I'm sorry to hear this. I too sent $ recently to join the Foundation. I enjoy the Forum tremendously. Any thought of its continuing?

The forum is valuable as you have said.

The forum continues thru the efforts of Bob Ollerton independent of the defunct foundation.

Unless Forrest Barber, formerly of this parish, or Bob Ollerton care to update, I'd suggest the Taylorcraft Foundation has "lost its footings".

I certainly don't await with baited breath from Forrest.

The Foundation still exists but seems to be in a coma. I think it will wake up if we ever have a driving need for it, like if the Taylorcraft Type Certificates and tooling ever come available again. For right now there just isn't anyone who has the time and drive to run it. Forrest did a fantastic job for decades and I miss his inputs, but I think that is now a part of Taylorcraft history. Wish the airport I wanted to build had happened. It would have been a great home for the Foundation and I would have loved to get Forrest to relocate from Ohio to SE Virginia or NE North Carolina. I think he would have loved the milder winters!

For being the Midwest Rep for the Foundation I have never heard anything since a phone call from Forrest probably seven or eight years ago. Hank is another one, but I don't think he ever got the phone call. Plus, this is a really old post.
                    Cheers,

Yea, I have talked to Forrest a number of times. We could still do a regional groups with the Forum. When we had the Mid Atlantic Taylorcraft Club it was great. It was especially good when we did annuals. We even had our own news letter.
