Looks like the wife is going to get a job in Chicago. Anybody know of any hanger space? 41' BC-65 and wanting to get a Farchild 24. Currently in Houston, TX but going to need to find something up north. Plus side? Closer to Oshkosh! Last year was 29 hours round trip *facepalm*

Chicago is a pretty big area. On the northwest side is Dacy at Harvard. Grass runways and antique friendly.Comment

Hey all. Update to the post (can I delete it?). The Chicago job fell through at the very end due to some shenanigans on the part of the Hospital Board. She ended up getting a job in Huntsville, AL and I'm on the list to build a hangar at 3M5. Wish I could have ended up a little further North, but c'est la vie. Thanks for those who responded.Comment

Please don't delete it. A little bit of human interest is always welcome.
Tell us about 3M5 (I flew right past Huntsville AL last September 2025, but didn't land), and please keep us all posted about your Taylorcraft and the hangar build. Perhaps there's a nice casual human interest story in the making.
