    Hi Folks,
I'm new to the forum. I've just started restoring my 1940 BC-65, Serial No. 1800. I'm looking for a local A&P to keep me on the straight and narrow. My home airport is 2W6 in Southern Maryland. I expect to have lots of questions for forum members so thanks in advance.

    Hi John,

Welcome to the forum, we're all happy to have new members. There is a lot, a lot of help here, just ask away. You might post of few photos of 24463 to show where you are starting from. Also there are some well documented restorations by some of the members here too.

While the Foundation website isn't active there is a lot posted there too. http://www.taylorcraft.org/resources.html

And if you can get through the "less than optimal" webpage interface, the Alliance Memory site has a lot of historical Tcraft pics.

I have some 40 parts for a restoration and a flying 41 in Virginia Beach VA. Keep in touch and I can pull lots of photos when things get confusing. Rob Lees site is a real gold mine!
