    I would do the change on just a log book entry. You swapped one certified mag switch for another certified switch with a negligible weight change. Also it is almost form-fit-function compatible. I would note the swap, state. "Ops check OK." and get on with life.. The switch change does not constitute a major repair, so 337 is overkill IMHO.

      Kind of our thoughts too (log entry changing from one unavailable certified PN switch to another available one). The two toggle switches were not "officially" even ever in the plane since they were put in with no record at all.

      So far there really hasn't been any problem with taking out all the junk that was never supposed to be there in the first place (in ANY form). Anything that was returned to what the logs say is already the configuration I don't think should require any entry just to make it match up to the paperwork. It was a trip going through all the records trying to figure out what the plane in the paperwork was supposed to look like.
