I'm thinking of visiting southern Utah & northern Arizona for ten days in late December, and would be interested to hear of anyone's recommendations for places to see. No skiing...just sight-seeing & winter hiking.
I know about all the National Parks & Monuments (I've been there before) but would be more interested in the "off-track" places, less regularly visited by the average tourist.
For example: which bits of Canyonlands, Lake Mead & Glen Canyon are worth seeing?
