Rob How is it with the covid-19 outbreak there,? The US seems to be going into panic mode , right now I have heard that the UK has an excellent health care system and strong measures are being taken there for preparedness. Are you concerned.

It's the same here. Walter. We have relatively few cases so far, but all airlines are shutting down and we have the same overreaction (IMHO) by Government and press as you do. I just don't understand why a lot of people think it's a good idea so panic-buy toilet rolls!

Thanks for your imput The collapse of the financial markets is really unsettling, we can only take a wait and see attitude, I took my Taylorcraft out yesterday for the first time in a while and its a comforting place to be
while all of tis is going on right now. The Harrison Ford photo is perfect , Its amazing that similar reactions are taking place in the UK, Im just getting over Pneumonia so I hope I do not catch this Oriental virus, Its nice to hear from the other side of the Atlantic, Take care Rob

Don't worry about the financial markets, Walter, unless you are desperate to sell.
The markets will even out in the end...they always do. But it may take a while for the volatility to stabilise. Shaky times lead to shaky markets.

I went flying on Sunday after my Annual, and like you, it was a breath of fresh air to get airborne!
        All the best,
        Rob

Seems to me that in the early 70's around the time of the gas shortage there was also a run on toilet paper and meat in the US. Does anyone else remember that?

p.s. food for thought - if you can't get toilet paper buy cheese, with enough cheese you won't need so much toilet paper
