Have helmet and goggles plus some Stearman time!... Controls on a Stearman feel like a broomstick in a pot of warm butter. Kind of hard to see around all that wing but an absolute DREAM to fly. BIG feel but still responsive, sooooo smooth and just a bit squirrely on landing. PERFECT to train for a T-6 and then a P-51.

I have GOT to get my plane up again! I am going to the airport today.

The feel of the top left cylinder exhaust pulsing warm air on my cheek every second revolution of the prop is a fond memory I need to have reenforced.....SOON!

Yeah it was very therapeutic to fly my friend's Stearman. I haven't flown much in the last 18 months since I've been doing the re-cover project on my TCraft. I flew in the front seat. He was PIC in the back. He did all the takeoff and landings. But it was still good for my soul.
