Drawings for wood door frames.

Anyone needing to build wood door frames?
I have a set of drawings & templates that work very well & would save a bunch of time if someone had no pattern. No they're not official Taylorcraft material but they're free to anyone needing them & willing to pass them on to another needing soul after .

Is this the wood door or door frame? I have the door drawings but having looked at them at length and I really think you would need a fixture too. I have a place that will copy drawings if they are the frames and could distribute them like the other drawings I have at cost.

That's perfect. I have the factory drawings for the wood doors and examples of tube, wood and sheet metal doors already. With the frame drawings I will be closer to being able to provide data for anyone needing to repair any of the doors. There is a local drafting support company I use to make drawing copies for anyone who needs them. Not all of the original drawings are "engineering quality" but they are usable to build parts or do repairs and I don't make a profit on them, just the cost to copy and mail. I finally had to explain what all the drawings were for to them. The guy running the copies usually does house plans or machinery drawings for the ship yard. I need to take him a picture of a Taylorcraft one of these days.

To those who have or was going to PM me about the drawings, I have sent them to Hank who has graciously agreed to copy & share with anyone needing them for the cost of postage. He also has wood door drawings so could help anyone in need there too.

If the drawings for the door frame are for a post war airplane, and I'm guessing that they are because of his signature, they will not fit the wood doors for the 41. The tube doors, the wood doors, and the sheet metal doors all used different frames. Sometime in 46 they switched to metel door frames.

I understand that. I have wood doors and drawings for them plus examples of the tube doors and frames and a set of metal doors. Whichever these drawings are for it will help fill out the drawing library.
