Does anyone have a suggestion on some good reading to learn the basics about the T-Craft mechanics and how to fly them? I'm just trying to learn the basics for now. Thanks in advance!

on welding , fabric, wood, safety wiring etc.
ASA & Jepp-Sandersen also
publish textbooks for the General, Airframe & Powerplant areas.
I don't know if there ever was a factory Service Manual for
any of the Taylorcraft series.
Some of your questions may be answered better by other folks on this board.

Re: Basic T-Craft Mechanics
The owners handbook. We have been talking about one for years. Several false starts and lots of information gathered, but no actual book yet. All of the information you may need is here in the tribe, but Taylorcraft never made one (at least for the early models) and we haven't finished ours yet either.
