Yes, Hank...we are very fond of BIG MARSHMALLOW tires around here. None of the really GOOD fishing and hunting spots have runways!
Paul...the standard rule in Alaska for carrying a .357 (or pretty much anything else smaller than a .454 Casull or .50 Desert Eagle) for bear protection is "save the last bullet for yourself!" My personal preferrence is a Mossberg 500 12ga shot gun with a pistol grip loaded alternately with buckshot and slugs.
