Annual Alaska Taylorcraft Fly-In

Alaska Tribe mark your calendars for Sunday, May 20th and plan to join your fellow T-Craft fliers for our annual fly-in at Skwentna. This is a fun, informal, semi-organized gathering to admire other airplanes, share some stories, make new friends, and enjoy some friendly flour-bombing competition. We will have a BBQ grill there with brats to share. Bring along your favorite folding chair, something to drink and maybe a bag of chips. There is plenty of room on the Skwentna ramp for aircraft parking. Below is a video from last year's event.

If I knew anyone with a T-Craft, other than my dad and his project in Michigan, I'd come out to this. I'm not sure where Skwentna is though. I'm in Anchorage. Sounds like a fun time out there though. Hope you guys have a good showing

Hey Jim, no reason for you and a select few to spring for everything;brats,grill,flour,bags,etc. I plan on bringing some food to share,perhaps potato salad or the like and any of the fore mentioned. Say what would be helpful and I will comply.

The reindeer brats and grill are NO PROBLEM at all...I save up all year for them! Flour bombs are provided too. Potato Salad is my all time favorite food. Bring it on! Everybody bring your favorite scent of 'bug dope'. They're going to be thick this year!

Please do a survey on the bug dope. This is a bad year for bugs in the lower 48 too and you guys will be doing a functional test run for the rest of us.
Hope you find a bunch of good ones for a minimum of welts!
