What a GREAT find! I have a set of original "T" Pants, but don't have the Taylorcraft "Bird" doubler for the outside face where the axle ends. If you get a chance to make a rubbing and measure the thickness with a depth gauge I would love to see it. Those are going to clean up great. I never put mine on to fly, but they really look good on a plane for local fly-ins.

If you land in cut grass or the slightest bit of mud, they will pick up "mess" better than a brand new bagging mower!
