I've amended drude's post to show the link to the Technical Resources page.
As a private individual & mechanic, I use Dave's bungee tool all the time, and to echo magman's post, it's the right tool for the job and well worth the money.
Dave, did you send me a photo of the latest version of your bungee tool?
I have a batch of parts made and need to put them in the jig and weld them up.
Also have a bunch of Aeronca oleos to assemble and case frames to weld so its kind of slow going.
Hmm its raining today maybe I'll do bungee tools first especially if Tom is going to need one.
Tom the price had been $93 + shipping for something like 10 years then krept up to about $114 and that included shipping. This batch is closer to $120 including shipping. Mostly because since I was overwhelmed with work I hired another shop to make many of the components.
Hi Dave, it was nice talking to you, after I woke up from my nappy! I was ten seconds from calling and asking you to send me the correct tool when my mechanic came up with a similar one that worked ok.
Thanks again Dave,

Hi Rob,
I have a new picture. I hadn't realized that the old ones were 12 years old! wow! time flies.
Rob can you add this one next to the original?
I did not have time to take the airplane apart and put in position as the old one is.
Current price is $120 that includes shipping by USPS flat rate.
