What does "Legacy" mean

Most of us have the word "legacy" attached beneath our names on eachpost. What does that mean?

And, we are members of the great unwashed as we do not have foundation numbers. Even though I have sent my money there more then once but by PayPal, so no recognition. Don't bother though as I am here for the data and resources. L

I sent my money too. I guess I'm not good enough to get a number. Was asked by Forrest himself if I had a number and was asked to join. This is a really great site with awesome people. So helpful! A number would be great,but I have been made to feel like a member!

If we aren't issuing new numbers because no one wants #666 I vote we donate that membership number to Harry Ingram (no rights or privileges). If ANYONE was the Devil incarnate to the name Taylorcraft, it was Harry.

Why not leave it blank or allow folks to choose their own from a list (I know Jelsoft allows this).

To get back to the original forum question, I don't know but there are people here who have responded who can. You will also note three of those have a different 'moniker' than all the rest. ??? Maybe it's like Ebay, once you get over a certain number you get a different subtitle.

Mine is "Respected Taylorcrafter". No idea where it came from or what it signifies. Actually never noticed it till this came up.

On most forums what is shown there is based on your post count. On some forums you can change it under your profile. On this forum there's a place under "my profile" to enter your foundation ID. Don't know if it will display as I forgot what mine is...

(Tried "666" but it doesn't post...)
