I thought a C85-8 used the same exhaust as the A65....Hmmm, That's what I thought anyways.

To make it fit you have to cut it along the "back straight" and weld in a piece. It's best to do this when the engine is off the airframe to guarantee it fits.

I need to replace the exhaust on my aircraft.

When I queried Univair for price and availablity I received this response.

The exhaust we make is only approved for the 65hp continentals for the b- bc12d aircraft. Im not sure if this would fit on your engine. Being its a one piece exhaust I don't know if the cut outs would be in the same place. I know for our j3 exhaust to get them to fit on a 85 they have to add some material to the stacks to make them a bit longer so they can reach the muffler..

I hope this info helps, you might see if anyone have installed these on a c85.

Have any of you installed this exhaust on a C 85?

Other than Univair and Aircraft Spruce is there anywhere else that sells an exhaust for a T Craft?
