I have a 46 tcraft and the wing fillers between the rear part of the wing and the fuselage have been repaired so often from stress cracks that I would like to replace them if you have a set or know where I can get a set please let me know. Thanks

    Re: wing fillers

Why not just make new ones? If you have access to a sheet metal break it should be easy. Sounds like another of those great garage industry products (cut the parts and bend them, then send them out to be riveted together as an owner produced part).

      Re: wing fillers

I wonder if David Wenglarz of Wings Metal Works would be interested in reproducing these. I will send him a message and ask.
      Cheers,

        Re: wing fillers

I brought one of mine home tonight so I could make paper patterns from it. Yell if he needs it (or anyone else).

Will do Hank. I still need from you the pattern for the trim mechanism parts in the cabin above your head and the pattern for the fuel knob shutoff 'safety. My address will be headed your way via PM. Thanks!
          Cheers,
          Marty

Darn! I thought I already sent you the Fuel Safety clip and Trim parts! I'll send all at once (if we don't get blown away Saturday)

The way these are made it appears the parts are stamped out so simple bending I dont think would work.

                Re: wing fillers

Hey guys. I want to make sure I am clear on this. Ray, you want the pieces at the back that the two long sheet metal pieces attach to. Not the front pieces or the long pieces, just the back. Correct? I have been in discussion with David and I think we were talking about different pieces. Let me know.
                Cheers,
                Marty

                  Ray,

Apparently I turn 50, retire, and can't remember a thing. I forgot all about that filler piece at the back of the wing. I have e-mailed David and will get back to you with a reply when I hear something from him.
                  Cheers,
                  Marty

                    Re: wing fillers

I have my drafting board and the Hurricane is getting close. I will try to trace the wing to fuselage filler parts and do an assembly sketch during the storm. All bets off when the power goes off. gets dark in here with the windows covered.
I also found the trim parts drawing and fuel shut off clip drawings.

Yes these are the pieces that fill in between the wing and the fuse in the rear portion of the wing.

                              Ray,

David just e-mailed me and advised he is having the parts cut out via CNC and will have enough on hand for 25 airplanes. He told me it was more cost effective to have them cut via CNC than by hand. He will advise me later how things are going.
                              Cheers,
