I bought a FWF off of a 140 and I was wondering if anyone has tried installing that exhaust on their taylorcraft. I searched, but all I found were write-ups on 150 and luscombe exhaust.

Re: Cessna 140 exhaust?
If it's straight pipes it's worth giving a shot. If it's "pancake" mufflers they're not worth the price of scrap metal.

Re: Cessna 140 exhaust?
The 25 hr AD ( like ALL AD's ) may not be a biggie.
However; there is a REASON for a 25 hr AD.
The message is " this is NOT reliable for more than 25hrs.".
I think you might have difficulty getting a Field Approval on a component with
a checkered history.
What if you go through the Paper Chase & then 25 hrs later it is defective?
