I'm in the process of cutting out some tubes in the rear of the fuse that have corrosion to replace them. The bracket for the bolt attachment of the tailwheel has a crack so it has to go as well. Although I'm wondering if what I have is correct for a pre-war fuse. I've seen another fuse which has a second bolt plate towards the top of the longeron tube with a sleeve welded between them for the bolt. Also I have those big gussets and wonder if that is correct. I'm trying to figure out what it should look like when I'm done to make it like original. See my photos below.
