  • Need aileron bay cove cover, and leading edge on tip.

Does anyone know were I can get the aileron bay cove covers?

I'm not sure if that's even what they are called, but I'm talking about the trailing edge of the wing in the aileron bay.

We have the stamped ribs, and need the covers for the aft ribs. We have enough to do one wing, so we only need it for one.

We also ordered new leading edge for both wings, but were not able to get the very end pieces were it tapers to the bow.
    Are these available anywhere?

    Thanks again tribe....

Most of the tip leading edges are pretty beat up, I made mine from fiberglass and carbon fiber since it was under the fabric and no one would see it. the coves can be made by a good sheetmetal shop, you can use 3003H14 .020 or .032. Gutter trim coil is 3003H14 and painted white on one side....I had to call to find out what alloy it was. Make sure you drill all of the holes and put fabric behind them, it helps hold the wing cover to the cove shape. Tim

Which wing do you need the cove for? I have some. Also may have decent tip skins.
