You can save those to disk by right-clicking on the image then left-clicking "save picture as" in the popup menu. When your pictures file opens then type in a name. From there you can send them to your own email inbox. Or anywhere else, or just print them from the photo file (the My Pictures library).

        Re: Skull Cap Spinners: "Small"

My "skull cap" spinner finally gave out the ghost this weekend. It was probably original 66-year old equipment. I'm now in the market for a new one. I searched the forum and found this thread.

Charles (rail); you do some impressive work! Did you ever start spinning new skull caps? If so, I would like to buy one from you.

        Thanks, Rod

Straighten it out. I think you can do it, atleast good enough till you get a new one. Marv

What the heck happened! Looks like it came off and got hit by the prop.

If it was a wheel cover or something that spun slowly (or not at all) I would straighten it out in a minute, but I would be afraid of doing a spinner. I just don't think using one after damage is too good an idea. You can fly without it and they could do some bad damage if it came apart at higher RPM. If the prop did that I am guessing it wasn't at full RPM.

                  Yup. You guys are good.
This was a couple of years ago. I immediately bought a new one. This one sits on my desk to remind me not to get complacent.
But Hank is right. I was on short final at my home-drome with the engine completely idled. Maybe 20 feet off the ground when the spinner departed. Wasn't sure what had happened at first (bird strike?). Landed the plane.
The hangars are at the other end of the grass strip.
After shutting down the airplane and realizing that I had lost my spinner, I borrowed a 4-wheeler and searched for 45 minutes until I found it.
