Any one that wants a set of SHINN wheels that WERE BUILT with no brakes for A EARLY Taylorcraft please PM me. My buddy rolled up the other day with a trailer full of old aircraft stuff and Immediately I zoomed in on the Shinn Wheels . Turning them over I was suprised to see they looked almost exactly like the fronts ! He said they were off a very early T he had years ago...I suppose it would figure that the REALLY early models (probably with a tail Skid) had such. Any way any museum or someone wanting an authentic early model may want to purchase em. I will put you in direct contact with the seller. I have no interst other than seeing someone USE them for the right purpose.

If one of us doesn't buy them they will end up on a garden cart somewhere. Who has the early Taylorcrafts here? How much are they?

We have a set of those for Dad's model A. He found a set of the ones with the narrow brakes to put on it, but I tried to talk him into using no brakes and the tail skid. TomComment
