I was wondering if any one could guide me in the right direction for a right landing gear fairing as the one I have is cracked and has a repair on it but paint wont cover the crack.

Re: landing gear fairing
Ray,
If you are talking about the fairing that goes between the upper gear leg and fuselage I have a name of a gentleman over in Indiana who does those fairings. A former T-Craft owner that was active on this site gave it to me about a month ago. I believe this is the person, though I have not contacted him. He also does new instrument panels, too:

Re: landing gear fairing
Ricky,
When you say airscoop, do you mean the fairing that goes around the airfilter on the front of the cowl? I have been trying to get ahold of a guy from the St. Louis area to have one made up as mine has a slight defect I would like to fix someday. I haven't been able to find a valid number for him, yet.Cheers,
Marty

Re: landing gear fairing
The "blister" shaped post war ones have a flat base that rests against the belly of the plane. The pre-war flat ones are rectangular with a lip and fit up in the belly opening. All are supposed to be rigged to be flush when the gear is unloaded (they all are really supposed to lay flush except when the bungees are being stretched by a load but a lot of them will sag just a tad). They are held to the gear leg by PK screws.
