Has anyone used or purchased the phenolic pulleys with ball bearings that are for sale on Barnstormer's?

    Re: Phenolic pulley

We bought several. They are nice. The thickness is not exactly like the factory pulleys so we used some light AN washers to shim them properly to line up with the cables but otherwise they are top notch. They are manufactured by Ralmark.

I didn't have the $ to replace them all. I replaced the 4 overhead...big improvement.

Good post. I went out and looked at my project. There are 10 large and 4 small pullies. At $26 each, that is near $400. Good to know the important ones.

The four overhead have 90 degree change of direction...I guess they have the greatest potential for resistance in the aileron circuit.
