    Re: Kelli-Belle Gone West

No one understands or admires what a great conversationalist you are - except your dog.
No one returns love with absolutely no conditions - except your dog.
Your dog never complains about how you drive.
Your dog does not care if your socks don't match.
Your dog does not wish for a diamond collar.
Your dog is there for you no matter what.

So very sorry for your loss Forrest.
    Best Regards,
    Mark Julicher

            Forrest,
This fellow dog lover understands how painful your loss is. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope the sadness will be steadily replaced by happy memories of your faithful friend.

                  Re: Kelli-Belle Gone West

I am back a wee bit today, the guys are flying, got the back blade on the tractor, plow on the truck, propane in the tank ready for Winter. Patty is still amazed at all our friends in Aviation who knew Kelli-Belle
thank you all it make it easier. Remember we still have "Hobo" the airport stray that has been around for four years. He is being treated royally again.
Out last Bassett was "Rusty" he has been gone for 11 years.
Kelli will be out last and BEST!

                        Re: Kelli-Belle Gone West

You can't go with her. She wouldn't want it and you have more to do here. There are more "hounds" who need you, both the dog kind and those of us in the tribe. I never wanted another dog after we lost our last one, but once you have had a great dog in your life, you can't live without them. Danny has brought more joy than I can say and we never would have learned to deal with the loss without him. I'll never forget Moe or Jake and the pain doesn't ever stop, but you do learn to live with it. FIND ANOTHER HOUND. They are the only ones who can really help you heal.
This poem was given to us after we lost Jake. It hurts but it really did help with the healing.
                        Hank

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I have read a lot of wonderful tales, I had missed that one..... thank you Hank

It is spitting snow here , runway is getting frozen. Air is crisp & cool. I think I need to fly a bit today now that I know about Rainbow Bridge.
