Re: spars
Wicks Aircraft Supply do a lot of timber work. They have a good reputation in the spar business (rumour has it that Aircraft Spruce purchase their spar stock from them).
Why I like Wicks is that they make wooden organ pipes, and for that you need the best timber and workmen in the business. Again, rumour suggests that they pick the best lumber for spars.
I've never purchased from them, so mine is an unbiased view. A lot of folk have had good business from other suppliers too.

Re: spars
Jeff Paulson at Evergreen Aviation Services and Restorations, (503) 543-6330,
Scappoose, OR can make spars for you. He's a long way a way from you but he knows Taylorcrafts and can also redo your wings.
That said, he is a long way a way from you. But, he has shipped spruce and wing spars all over the world. For what it's worth.
