I believe is more easy build the stamped style ribs, similar to the last manufactured and can use wire, screws, or pop rivets for secure fabric in lieu of rib stitching.-
Too, with the stamped ribs, is more easy to put metal panel covers over the wing tanks.-

You just keep thinking that, you need a press and a die to make them properly, and every other method of attaching fabric requires a FIELD
APPROVAL if not using the wire:doh:. I have done 337's for both rib stitching and rivets. People told me that the one for riblacing couldnt be done but I got the ACO to approve it. How do you think that the cubs put tank covers on with the truss style ribs? :hammer:Tim

Thanks by read my comments. As I say to Hank, I am learning reading yours posts.
Thanks also by understand my poor english.-
ASTIP2, I am in accord with you, a die and a press is the ideal, but for a mass production.
For built few or a complete set for one aircraft, I think only is necessary a good pair of wood formers, a plastic mallet, a metal scisor and a circle cutter, and few more things.
You have alert me about the fabric attach method, I must study this with our aviation authorities.-
For the know of Robert, the reglamentations here are worst that in USA or UK, for our misfortune.-
