any thoughts on how the wres should be routed to the tail light from the front to the back? Also how about between the rudder and the tail post area?

Re: tail light wireing
Biggest problem seems to be that if you ever need to remove the rudder you have to cut the wires. Mine looked like they had been spliced together MANY times and I have been fishing new wire to the tail. I can tell you it is INFINITELY easier to put the wire in BEFORE you cover the fuselage!
I was going to put a small connector at the hinge line, but I realized when I pulled the wires from the rudder that the one easy area to pull the wires through was the rudder. Make the wire through the fuselage and fin long enough to reach all the way through the cord of the rudder and make the disconnect at the light housing. Be sure to leave some slack for cutting the ends off several times to re-solder them to the light socket. It is a snap to run a straightened coat hanger from the light socket to the small hole at the hinge line and pull the wires back through.
Of course if you have your light on top of the fin, all of this doesn't apply, but then you guys don't have the problem either!
