There is a 337 for removal of the rear cross brace, and I think there is one for using cessna 150 seats and another to use an aluminum seat to repace the sling. Tim
Do you have any more info about the aluminum seat? Any pictures? I’m looking into creating one for my Tcraft.

Wowa. That surprises me. A 337 to remove structure?

I suppose all things are possible.

Indeed Google is ! Funny I thought before even seeing it if it would be it would be in ALASKA. In reading the 337 I see it was not permanently removed however converted to a "Removable seat sling tube" As in remove to load and unload crap in the baggage area .....man I would not play with that idea for a moment but also knowing how strong the cabin area is it probably never amounted to any issues down the road...ya funny!

Yeah, most of the good mods are in Alaska.
            Some even have paperwork. LOL

Some of those have my signature on them, I did the aluminum seat, used Cessna hat channel and riveted onto the aluminum sheet that was drilled with lightening holes and ms hinge material.
