I met a gentleman at the Copperstate Fly In in Casa Grande, AZ this October.
He is working on a product that will remove ethanol from autogas. I believe it will do approximately 12 to 14 gallons at a time. It is based on his portable fuel systems refueler.
He is planning on making the device easy to operate, micro processer (PIC)controlled, push to start. If I remember correctly it takes a couple hours to process 14 gallons.
He also showed me the certified lab test that indicated 10% ethanol before and 0% ethanol after processing..
Thanks ron for the reply to my search for a way to remove the enthanol. Sounds doable to me. I just got a reply from another source saying lucas oil makes a product called safeguard tm enthanol fuel conditioner and stabilizer. Said to contain effective additives to protect all components of the engine and it supporting systems? Protect against corrosion of metal components. Complete details on lucas oil site. Try on your lawnmower or snowblower soon. Jim
