Anyone know what happened to Bob Lees UK website? I also noticed that pictures of the other brithish restoration L19 have also been removed from the photo gallery?

The UK Taylorcraft gallery folder was one of the 3 that was hacked. We had to delete about 750,000 gallery folders full of crap and the spammers may have messed with the photos as well.

          Hi Guys,

If anyone needs I have a copy of most of Rob's site dated 10/04/2009. I backed this up using a free copy of "Teleport Pro". The resulting data file contains the website and you can run it by simply double clicking on the "index" web page contained in the data file. Hope this helps.

          Regards,
          Charles

Can it be reloaded? How do we get to it? I tried the link Dot provided, but when i actually got into it, a lot of the photos were broken links (still really like you Dot.... )
We really need to create a file of all the photos, sort and identify them and burn the whole thing to a DVD so it can be recovered when this sort of thing happens. Maybe even a series of CDs for each plane.

My site is back up & running: http://www.taylorcraft.org.uk

The web host had a disc failure, so I had to reload.

                  Re: robert Lees

I keep a copy of my own data on my own hard disc drive, which I keep backed up on another HDD, with a third "fire copy" on separate premises.

Those who rely exclusively upon 3rd part hosting sites like photobucket (and indeed the Foundation Gallery) are fooling themselves into the security of their data.

Now I just have to figure out how to put the whole thing on a disc for my pvt library.
Really glad to see it back up.

I too am glad to see it up again. Although I am still in the disasembly mode that will change later this summer and I have been looking to your site for little stuff as it comes up. Thank you again Robert, for all you do!
