    Taylorcraft BC 12 D N96326

I bought this TCraft in 2005 and flew it from Connecticut to New Market Virginia. Upon arrival It developed a stuck valve so my sons and I disassembled the bird and took it to my garage where we rejuvinated the fabirc and applied new colors, recovered ailerons as well as go over the engine. I have enclosed a few projects showing the "before" and "after" which includes hauling from the shop to the airport for final assembly and annual. Shown also is Craig and Mike from Clem's Garage who provided a great deal of TLC in the transport. My son David will be taking instruction as soon as the annual is finished with a great desire to get his private in this great airplane. I have also included a photo of my good friend Nathan in the Swift (which was his faviorite plane until he saw the TCraft!). Hope all the photos get through...

Again...thanks to all for your comments....

PS: The photos are in reverse order...

Correction... after reviewing the photos after they were sent they somehow are not in order, Nathan and the Swift were to be last!

I need to work on my computer skills!.....

      Nice Swift. What engine?

Edit: Nice Taylorcraft too (I suppose I should have said that first!)

Swift is all original and has the 145 Continental. Considering upgrading to the Continental I0-360 / 210 hp.

As to the TCraft we tried to duplicate paint from an old Taylorcraft advertisement. thank you for you comments...

Bob, that is a sharp looking paint scheme I think I may have seen the same ad...

I am partial to that scheme too... although mine is not exactly correct.

I am located in Massillon Ohio, which is about 30 miles west of Alliance. I would not be doing my tcraft duty if I did not say the best place would be the tcraft reunion the weekend after 4th of July every year. However, I will have to finish her first. We are starting cockpit and engine intallation, but still have the wings to do.

                  Hi Bob,

You mentioned that you bought your ship in Connecticut. By any chance was it in the northeast part of the state? It looks familiar in its original paint.
