  • Best of 2009 Taylorcraft photos

    The rules:

    Only one picture per post.

The pictures must have been taken in 2009. The pictures must either contain a Taylorcraft or be taken from a Taylorcraft (we trust your honesty).

The pictures do not have to be yours, but proper photo credit must be given and you must have permission to post the photo if they are not yours.

Anything larger then 800x600 will be deleted, edited or scrummaged, at my discretion.

And while it is not required it's always nice if you post a little bit of info along with your picture. What, where when, who and how...

...and I'll elect to post the first picture:

Dover, The English Channel, May 2009. Dover Castle on top of the cliffs ahead, with the town down almost at sea level on the right.

The French coast just visible over the low cloud smothering the White Cliffs and the water.

Sorry Rob- I have always been terrible about following the rules. . . not a Tcraft but it's predecessor was designed by CG Taylor. Top of a loop in a Super Cub

Flying is easy- to go up you pull back, to go down you pull back a little farther.

This was taken by my friend Pete Rintamaki (also in a Taylorcraft) over Cook Inlet in South Central Alaska with Mt. Redoubt Volcano steaming in the distance.

This picture is from this past summer of coming up on step out in front of my cabin. I shuttled people all afternoon from a lake that they could drive to about 8 miles away.
