Does anyone have a copy of the landing light parts or installation drawings? I believe the F19 and later models had them, at least as an option. I'm going to install a single light into the wing and would prefer to use Taylorcraft information. Otherwise ill need to get the Luscombe drawings out.

    Thanks,

    Bob,

I have one fitted into each wing on my F22A. I also have the electrical schematic drawing for the arcraft which shows the electrics for the lights but not easy to read!

The lights are operated independently via switches for each light and as a matter of interest don't last very long but that may be peculiar to my aircraft or naff UK supplied items!

If you want a copy of the schematic electrics PM me with an email address and I will get a copy scanned in and sent to you after Christmas.

No, it's not peculiar to your F22...the Leicester one suffers burnt-out bulbs too! And they're all US-made anyway.

        Rob,

I am told in a PM that if you fit them with the filament vertical as opposed to horizontal they last three times as long! this being due to the filament suffering less movement on landings etc. Well worth a try providing they will fit that way round of course.

Yes that works. On our 172 with the light in the cowl, that was the only way the light would last more than one landing.

There is a 337 to use a cub style light in an F-22 wing. Look in the tech resources section. Tim
