Disregard if you have a Plastic Pilot Certificate
I'm not sure if this is common knowledge or not.
If you have an old paper certificate it will expire at the end of March 2010 (61.19g). Getting a replacement is easy.
Hopefully this link will work. If not just go to FAA.Gov and navigate the buttons to
Airmen Certification. and then the botton of the FAQ's.
If you have a certificate. using your SSN no. as your certificate. no. there will be no charge to replace paper for plastic. If you did not use your SSN for your certificate no. there is a $2.00 fee.
I would imagine that there will be a rush in March so the earlier you go for the replacement the better.
