What is a good source to order throttle, mixture, etc. push/pull controls? I need to replace mine in my F-19 T-craft.

We are looking for the throttle knob too! Any good leads. I can find them on the internet but they all have the wrong threads I need 1/4 by 28, all I can find is 1/4x 20.

MacFarlane has some REALLY GOOD stuff that is PMA.

Most of it is 1/2 the price of Cessna or Piper .

They CAN make "Custom -length" as well.

A & P's get a discount on top of that.

Easy to deal with & GREAT Tech support.

Larry, you can get one of those. Re-drill and put in a 1/4x28 heli-coil. Tom

we used a McFarlane on ours a while back. Something tells me a Cessna 185 throttle cable was the proper length... but don't quote me on that.

I made a mistake, I am looking for the throttle cable for Tim's 46 BC. All the ones available are to big a diameter right where they mount to the panel. (the threaded barrel part) All I have found are 1/2" or larger but the one we pulled is only about 3/8" Dia.

Drill the panel, I used a Cessna 180 cable on a short mount installation from McFarlane. Tim

                    Re: engine control cables

                    Revisiting an old thread ...

I am within a couple months of finishing a '46 BC12-D re-build and it involves conversion to a C-85-12 (electrics) with the long mount. With the longer mount, I will need to replace all engine control cables. I am about to start a search with the normal suppliers, but thought I would ask the question here first. I will be looking for throttle, mixture, carb heat, and cabin heat. Trying to maintain original look & feel.

Anybody have recent success at procuring new engine control cables?

Thanks for the quick reply. I will start my search there. Just pulled up their web site ... looks like there will be lots of options.
