Re: Bending 3/4" tubing (or maybe it's 5/8)

After going to a rental shop and being told that the hickey bender would probably break, I went to a machine shop here in Falls Church and asked if they did any bending. They said no... then the owner went to a closet and brought out a hickey bender and said they bought it 10 years ago, it didn't do what they needed and never used it again. I had a piece of tubing with me and asked if they could give it a try. In a blink of an eye they had a 20* bend in it without noticeable crimping. I asked if I could come back the next day and give it a try and they said "sure". So I did and very carefully bent the 5* bend I needed. and they lived happily ever after - Mike
