I am moving steadily along on the interior of my 41 BC12-65 and have run into a cosmetics problem. No, I don't need to know where to put the make-up mirror, I want to put the right placards and instrument markings on the panel and don't have any good pictures.
Does anyone have a better picture of an original 41 panel than I have attached so I can see what the Mag switch markings look like (or if anyone has the actual marking plate, I would REALLY appreciate some one putting it on the Xerox for me!)
I also need to see what the small logo at the botom center of the panel is. It is in the right place to cover the screw that bolts the bottom of the panel to the lug on the fuselage tube and may look like a little "Taylorcraft" wing. If someone has one and could , again, make a Xerox of it or even get a good photo, I could engrave a replacement.
The last thing is each of my instruments seem to have a different font for the face markings. If I am having them re-worked, and they re-do the face anyway, it would be nice to have them all done with the original font so they look like a set. Some Taylorcraft instruments had the company logo on the face and would really appreciate a picture of what that looks like. I could kick myself for giving away a broken oil gauge with the logo on it years ago, but I didn't know at the time they were rare, and who would want a broken oil gauge anyway? Live and learn!
Thanks,
Hank
