    Yes...hanging the doors is crucial...and will require additional fitting of the bootcowl..we are working on that now. We will send more pics later. Doc

      Just take your time and don't get frustrated. I think there was a reason they used wood to frame the doors in, they custom fitted the frames to the doors and tubes. I wasted a LOT of poster board, 1/8" plywood and tempered Masonite cutting, fitting and redoing the patterns for my windshield. It is ALL WORTH IT when your door closes with that solid Rolls Royce "THUNK" and your windshield fits like a glove. It just feels SOOOOOOO GOOD when you stand back and see it's done RIGHT.

        Doc,
        Man, that new boot cowl just looks really great! I remember taking quite a bit of time trying to locate where to hang the hinges on the wood doors of my 41 but Hank is right-once they fit and the doors closes tight it's really neat. Thanks for the pictures--it's really nice to see what can be done with craftsmanship.

          Try your doors, make any measurements for any adjustments you need and build another section to make it fit. Tim
