I have a Scott tailwheel on my 46. Today while at work The guy I work with that has owned many light planes and a few Taylorcrafts said that that wheel is way too heavy for the Taylorcraft. He said you need the little hard wheel.
Is the scott tailwheel too big and heavy?
Is there any advantage to it?
What is the main disadvantage to the smaller lighter hard one?
Looking in the 337's it is a full swivel scott replacing a Maule tailwheel. + 2 lb.
