Made a $100 BBQ run down to the Hard 8 BBQ in Stephenville, TX yesterday. Some friends tagged along in a C152 and took a few pics on the way home. Some of them turned out pretty good!

Had a great 12 hours in the plane up until yesterday. On the way home from a neighboring field, I picked up a bad vibration / RPM loss. Made it back home to find that one of the cylinders isn't firing. Mags, plug leads and plugs are good however the bottom plug was covered with oil, and becomes oil fouled after a 1-2 minute run. Still getting compression though with a differential compression test. Removing the cylinder tomorrow to see what turns up.Craig Helm

Craig, before removing the cylinder, try rotating the ignition leads (by which I mean make the mags fire to a different cylinder, simply re-wire the leads at the mags [both left and right]). No flight required, just a ground run.
If the problem remains at the same cylinder, then a cylinder problem. If the re-routed ignition moves the problem to a new cylinder, then the ignition is the problem.
